Annabelle Creation (2017)

 


  This movie was a very interesting story to Annabelle's origin and deeper look into the doll's connection to The Conjuring universe. I love that this film gave us at least a story to this doll since it's origins and backstory are unknown.

  The only known thing about this doll and the presence residing in it as the Warrens state that a woman got the doll from a friend and the doll ended up writing things on the wall and leaving notes to the woman whenever she left her sight from the doll. later the woman learned and was tricked that the doll had the soul of a little girl, she soon learned from the warrens as they  told her that there was no little girl but a demon residing in the doll.

  The films story tells that a man named Sam Mullins was a dollmaker and had suffered a tragic loss of his daughter. Sam and his wife end up seeing "the soul of their daughter" who ask that they let her transfer her soul into the doll so "she can be with them forever". They later learn that they aren't seeing the soul of Annabelle but a demon tricking them so the demon can transfer it's soul into other people the mother learns this as she confronts her "Daughter" who shows herself as a demon that ends up wanting the mom's body. 

  I only have one problem with this film.... it's too cheesy and predictable. Reason is it's just those classic it's obvious you don't go in there situation and the terrible choices the characters make.

  Overall I really love this film and it’s a scary movie to watch. You see a doll in an antique store I think this can help you think about getting a vintage doll for your child.

  I really love the way they make a big spot in the franchise for this doll. The doll is a conduit for the demon but it has a big role in this universe, James Wan didn’t treat this doll as a one and done part as he gives it it’s own three films, it also makes cameos in the franchise.

TENET (2020) Review

  A secret agent is sent on a mission that will prevent a possible World War III. After being given word of an extraordinary special uranium is found to be able to reverse time, "Protagonist" must travel backward in time to stop the people who have this new weapon and alter events that will end the world. Christopher Nolan directs another thrilling movie with amazing music, action and crazy/special affects. This movie was amazing to watch as it gave me the same viewing experience I got from "inception"(2010) with off the walls "stunning" visual affects and very cohesive music written by Ludwig Goransson, I loved the amount of action and stunts done, I especially loved they casted John David Washington we was very good at his role. Secrets of Dumbledore? Fantastic Beasts 3 trailer officially released!!!

 Fantastic Beast 3: The Secrets of Dumbledore gets it’s official trailer!    Yes it’s happening! Fans come out to a return of the creature catcher coming out of his suitcase zoo again. And he’s all for another adventure with the loved headmaster and wizard Albus Dumbledore, but what’s Dumbledore’s secrets?    Yes that’s right I’m asking you yes you! I’m not a reader of Harry Potter but I can love the fan loved films. I’m definitely excited for this new adventure!   But my question is! What’s Dumbledore hiding?  I don’t know this man’s secrets that probably were never spoke of in J.K Rowlings original Harry Potter books, besides his future agenda for Harry against Voldemort Or that he had a childhood love interest with our last seen villain Grindelwald… wait what!!!
